Hasya-Manch: A Stand-Up Comedy Competition

RULES:

• Two entries per college will be allowed.
• It will be an individual competition.
• Time duration: 4-5 minutes

COMPETITION REQUIREMENTS
• Participants can choose their own topic.
• The highest weighting would be placed on originality and delivery of content.
• Participants’ material has to be original; if found to be copied from another comic, you will be disqualified from the event.

COMPETITION RESTRICTIONS
• The content shouldn’t be disrespectful to any religion, caste, race, or political party and should not contain any adult jokes.
• The use of abusive language is strictly prohibited.
• No inappropriate double entendres are permitted.
• negative marking for exceeding the time limit.

COMPETITION JUDGEMENT
• Participants will be judged on the basis of their contents, fluency, presentations, and sense of humour.
• The judges’ decisions will be final.
• Following the announcement of the results, no questions or objections will be entertained.
